Ruth is three feet tall. She entered an able-bodied beauty pageant ‘Miss Fabulous Kenya 2011’ competing against hundreds of women. After three intense rounds she walked away with one of the top three prizes ‘Miss Confidence’. The broader story can be seen on my website.

In the picture below, Ruth stands in her newly won sash and tiara in her one bedroom apartment in a suburb of Nairobi.  The subsequent pictures are ‘behind the scenes’ before the beauty pageant.
