On assignment for Comic Relief in Kigoma

I recently went to Kigoma in Tanzania, to photograph British TV celebrity Davina McCall and Youtube vlogger Fleur De Force visiting families, hospitals and community members in the fight to beat malaria.

Tabu and her grandchildren meet Davina McCall in her home. Tabu is the leader of Kanyabeza womens’s group.

The trip was largely women focused on empowered groups set up to tackle malaria head on through community endeavors.

It was a wonderful assignment with pictures published by GSK, Comic Relief,  marie claire and also in Hello! Magazine below.

Leonard, the Mahembe Health Care Worker conducts the process of Malaria testing with patients of the Mahembe community. In this case the child tested positive for Malaria. 2 lines on the malaria testing device (pictured) indicates positive.
